Wednesday’s Summerfest was very well attended. Light food and refreshments, ice cream, wine tasting were enjoyed by all. Some sprinkles brought our activities indoors, but in between, the crowd spilled out onto the courtyard. Bike Rack provided free bike maintenance to our many cycling commuters. Republic Restoratives, DC’s first women-owned distillery opened its tasting room in Ivy City on Sunday. At a brunch party called the “First Pour”, they launched the distillery, featuring their own Civic Vodka. Bourbon production begins this week, which will take at least 18 months to properly age.
Stout & Teague helped Republic Restoratives purchase its Ivy City headquarters in 2014.
